mitatrim is a 3-side, single knife, trimmer for the automated trimming of perfect-bound products like hard cover book blocks, soft cover books, and layflat book blocks. The machine is constructed to be connected in line with a perfect binder or a lay flat section gluing machine. Unlike trimmers with 3 cutting stations, the mitatrim is equipped with one knife only. A gripper system takes the product to the respective cutting position by rotation.
